The Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s North American Bass Challenge (NABC) once again will bring together some of the best premier events for anglers everywhere. Multiple events anchored by the historic 33rd Annual Sturgeon Bay Open Bass Tournament May 19-20, 2023.
In addition to the same stellar payouts, the Sturgeon Bay Open Bass Tournament (SBOBT) has always had. Once again set for its traditional annual weekend after Mother’s Day which is May 19-20. This years event will be held out of Sawyer Park and will continue to feature the aspects anglers have come to expect, including, the same great 90% payback, a portion of every entry fee goes to SBOBT committee charities and conservation projects and of course the new Ranger boat as the top prize, raffles, prizes, NOW with national television coverage and more!
Then there are BIG FISH events and more being added! Fish BIg Stone Lake, MN Kentucky Lake, TN or the fall SBOBT or FALL Sturgeon Bay BIG FISH event! BIg FIsh events have guaranteed top prizes for the biggest bass caught during each two-hour session!
North American Bass Challenge (NABC) falls under the Federation Angler group of fishing companies with over 40 years of industry expertise.
The Federation Angler team developed the concept of the North American Bass Challenge to provide anglers with large, standalone premier events of different types and formats, some of them long-established, others brand-new competition with the opportunity to fish with family and friends, and all with the chance to win large payouts and big prizes. “You will see a couple of different types of events under the new NABC flag. Based in Ponca City, Oklahoma, the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s North American Bass Challenge offers something for everyone and all income levels. Along with an overall annual payback to anglers well in excess of 100 percent a portion of each entry fee is donated to fisheries conservation and matched by the NABC and other conservation organizations up to 3-to-1 in support of bass conservation projects anywhere the North American Bass Challenge does business.
